Why subscribe?

I have been working with small businesses and startups for more than a decade. Over this time, I have found that often the environment surrounding the business has an ability to impact the business just as much as what is happening within. One often needs to read a lot to acquire all of this context.

I have developed the discipline of reading a lot of news. I read over 200 blogs a week. I started writing this blog more as a way for me to keep a tab of whatever I was reading. Many have found it useful.

I often write about topics that are at the intersection of politics, economics, technology, and business.

I publish a newsletter called “Learning by Proxy” every Saturday and during the middle of the week write an opinion/thought piece.
