Here another: as someone working in the education space, i have often been quoted the McD model to scale educational programs. These suggestions have come from “highly successful” and sought after funders and some well meaning people from premier institutions in the country.
Success only means that they found a formula in the narrow area that they work in. Does not necessarily imply smarts in all areas. The problem with reductionism is that it makes something complex look simple. It is only human to gravitate towards that simplicity.
