Enjoy the Weather
Climate change will deliver us new and exotic weather each year, we are going to learn to deal with it.
Nature is doing physics.
For the last 100 years, industrialisation has given us a slow-moving train wreck we call Climate Change today. It was not always branded as such always. The scientists understood that the increasing carbon-di-oxide content in the atmosphere is causing the atmosphere to warm up. It was hence branded “global warming”.
But then idiots like Trump would stand at the pulpit in New York during winter and say, “Where is global warming? I would like some of it right now.”
Climate Change better reflects what happens when the heat in the system goes up. If you are heating water in a kettle, you can still see what is going on within, if it is boiling you cannot.
Climate is reaching that boiling point where it is hard to tell what is going on.
Two weeks ago, it was raining non-stop in Bangalore because a cyclone hit the eastern coast. A cyclone in November is strange and crazy. You need heat to power a cyclone. The cloud cover and the rains delivered Bangalore cold weather that would be abnormal in January!
Where is global warming? Well, it just dumped millions of litres of water on you.
There is one more cyclone currently forming in the Bay of Bengal. Happy New Year!
Similarly, the Gulf Stream which is the predominant current in the Atlantic is getting more aggressive. Usually, the water that heats up in around the Caribbean travels all the way to England. Loses its energy and turns down to go back to the equator.

As you can see from the image above, the Gulf Stream is extending all the way up to Svalbard, an island group that blows to Norway, considered one of the best places on Earth to watch the Northern Lights. Svalbard is normally under snow in summer. Now, it just about freezes in winter.
The Gulf Stream is displacing the cold air of the arctic which is descending down North America and Siberia. Siberia is always been known as a frozen wasteland so nobody is reporting about the weather there. But in the meantime, North America is under many feet of snow.
Extremely cold arctic air is expected to plunge southward and impact much of the country through Hanukkah and into the week of Christmas, December 22–26, according to NOAA forecasters.
Temperatures 40 degrees below average and dangerous life-threatening wind chills as low as 50 degrees below zero are possible in the northern Rockies and northern Plains. Sub-zero to single-digit temperatures are likely across the central Plains, Midwest, Great Lakes, Ohio Valley and Midsouth.
Well below freezing temperatures will extend into the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast and as far south as the Gulf Coast through the holiday weekend. Based on National Weather Service forecasts, every state in the continental U.S. will experience temperatures below 20 degrees on Christmas Eve.

The President had to warn people about the weather!
It is the planet saving itself because the conditions are so treacherous that it is almost impossible to drive. Imagine the number of people who would have been on the highway if the weather had been nice!
“Snow is likely to add to the preholiday travel headaches from the central Plains to the Midwest and Great Lakes as a major winter storm begins to develop,” the prediction centre forecasters wrote Tuesday.
It will produce not only heavy snow in the Midwest and Great Lakes but also relentless winds leading to blizzard conditions in places like Chicago and Milwaukee.
It’s a stronger-than-normal storm system for the Great Lakes, Mr Lamers said.
Blizzard conditions will most likely be contained to the Central and Northern Plains, Midwest and Great Lakes.
Blizzards like this one can have a serious impact on travel, and even just getting around outside can be treacherous because of the strong winds.
United Airlines, which has a hub in Chicago, said that it had already issued waivers to passengers traveling to or from any affected airports Wednesday through Friday. Delays may add up in areas of the country that aren’t just experiencing blizzard conditions.

The Europeans on the other hand are at the receiving end of the Gulf Stream and it is raining all over instead of snowing. They are experiencing a wet Christmas.
Climate will keep hitting us and surprising us in new ways. Extreme weather events such as heat waves and bomb cyclones are going to be every year's occurrences going forward. As the rich countries find ways to adapt to it, the poor will have to figure out which rich country to migrate to.
